Michael Penington

Mr. Urs Wietlisbach is a Co-Founder of Partners Group where he serves as a Member of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Client Oversight Committee at Partners Group. He also is a Co-Founder of Property One Partners and serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at both Property One Partners and Swiss Startup Capital. He is the Founder and serves as President of the Wietlisbach Foundation. He is a Co-Founder and serves as the Chairman of the Board of directors of Blue Earth Capital. He was initially responsible for the firm's partnership investment activities and instrumental in building Partners Group's private equity funds portfolio and a global industry network. Later, he also focused on business development responsibilities, first in Europe, and subsequently in the USA and the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to founding Partners Group, he was an executive director at Goldman Sachs & Co. where, after assignments in London and New York, he was appointed head of the firm's institutional clients business in Switzerland. Previously, he was a relationship manager for multinational corporate clients at Credit Suisse in New York and Zurich. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
