Terms of Service

By accessing or using AngelSearch (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use AngelSearch. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this provision.

AngelSearch is designed for founders and startup operators to research investors and manage their fundraising process. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not: - Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the Service - Redistribute, resell, or sublicense investor data obtained through the Service - Use the Service to harass, spam, or send unsolicited messages to investors - Circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security measures - Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service - Impersonate another person or entity

Investor profiles, deal data, and activity feed information are compiled from public sources including SEC filings, press releases, and publicly available databases. AngelSearch does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of investor data. Founder-submitted reviews represent the opinions of individual users and do not reflect the views of AngelSearch. We do not verify review content and are not responsible for its accuracy.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from Settings > Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Free tier features (Pipeline CRM, Pitch Deck Lab, limited search) remain available after cancellation.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to AngelSearch, including pitch decks, pipeline data, and startup profile information. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

The AngelSearch name, logo, software, and design are the property of AngelSearch, Inc. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission. The Service, including its algorithms, scoring methodologies, and user interface, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

AngelSearch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that investor data will be accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AngelSearch, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution) will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in a class action.
